FAQ

Questions? We've got answers.

Do I need to be home?+

No. As long as your bins are accessible, we can complete the service.

How often should my bins be cleaned?+

Most customers choose monthly cleanings to keep odors and bacteria under control.

Do you bring your own equipment?+

Yes. We arrive with professional cleaning equipment and supplies.

What if my bins are extremely dirty?+

No problem. We'll do our best to restore them to a clean condition.

Is pressure washing safe?+

Yes. We use appropriate pressure and cleaning methods designed for residential trash bins.

What areas do you serve?+

We mainly serve Orangecrest and nearby walkable neighborhoods in Riverside, CA. We keep routes short because we work on foot.

What are your service hours?+

Our main service day is Wednesday, afternoon/evening between 3:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Cleanings usually take 10–30 minutes per bin.

Can I book a one-time cleaning instead of monthly?+

Absolutely. Choose a one-time deep clean at checkout — no long-term commitment.

What payments do you accept?+

We accept cash, Cash App, and PayPal. More payment options are coming soon.

Is there an extra fee for maggots or heavy contamination?+

Yes. Bins with maggots or heavy contamination require extra work, so we add a $5 fee per affected bin.

How do discounts work?+

Mention any discount in the notes when booking — first-time cleaning, referral, or loyalty reward. We verify it manually before applying it.

What happens if it rains on my service day?+

Light rain usually doesn't stop us. If weather makes cleaning unsafe, we'll reach out to reschedule.

Do you clean the inside of the bin too?+

Yes. Every service includes interior pressure washing, soap cleaning, exterior, lid, and wheel cleaning.

Can I cancel or reschedule?+

Yes. Monthly customers can cancel with a 7-day notice. For reschedules, just call or text us at 951-809-4774.

Who owns The Clean Can Co.?+

The Clean Can Co. is owned and operated by Anthony Placencia, a 13-year-old Latino entrepreneur from Orangecrest.

Why should I get my trash bins professionally cleaned?+

Trash bins collect bacteria, grime, food residue, and bad odors over time. A professional cleaning removes all of that, leaving your bins sanitary, fresh-smelling, and safer to keep near your home.

Does bin cleaning help with odors?+

Yes. Our pressure washing and soap cleaning remove the buildup that causes lingering smells, so your garage, driveway, and curb area stay fresher.

Can dirty bins attract pests?+

Definitely. Food residue and grime can attract flies, maggots, raccoons, and rodents. Regular cleanings remove the source and help keep pests away.

Is it healthier for my family?+

Yes. Bins can harbor bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and mold. Our sanitizing process reduces those risks, making your home environment cleaner and safer.

Does it improve curb appeal?+

Clean bins look better at the curb and don't leave grime or streaks on your driveway. It's a small detail that makes your property look more cared for.

Why not just clean my bins myself?+

DIY bin cleaning is messy, time-consuming, and hard to do thoroughly without the right equipment. We handle the dirty work, use professional tools, and leave no mess behind.

Does it save me time?+

Yes. We clean, sanitize, and deodorize your bins in 10–30 minutes while you do something else. No scrubbing, no hose setup, no cleanup for you.

Is it worth it for just one or two bins?+

Yes. Even one dirty bin can create odors, bacteria, and pest problems. Our pricing is affordable and every extra bin saves you money.

How does monthly service help long-term?+

Monthly cleanings prevent buildup from getting worse, which keeps odors low, bacteria controlled, and your bins easier to maintain over time.
